Bloody nora, sorry for the delay kids! You know how it goes with blogs, unless you are either very reliable or completely self-absorbed you wont be updating at regular intervals....

Anyway I've got some holiday time now and a few comissions heading my way so expect some more doodles on here soon.

Begun a new sketchbook with thicker paper, mainly playing around with text sofar. All these done on the same day.

I think weve come to the realisation that these pics here are just doodles, drawn with little effort, but im still pretty happy with em. Why? Ive always had this notion of doing things repeatedly until they become second nature and in a way im trying to do that with these sketches. Trying not to apply too much control to see what happens, and if you can create a certain off-hand aesthetic. Thematically most of the work is linked with language and text in some way, usually focusing on the visual value of words, not the meaning. Or maybe its just a bunch of horseshit, you decide.
